Falcons Sign Two Players & Cut Three Others

The Atlanta Falcons announced Sunday that they’ve signed OT Matt Huffer and DB Jonathon Mincy to contract while placing DT Chris Brown, CB Jordan Ozerities, and WR Joshua Stangby on waivers.

Brown, Ozerities and Stangby were among the Falcons’ 19 undrafted free agents that they added to their roster following last week’s NFL draft.

Huffer started at left tackle during his time at South Dakota and wound up trying out for the team this past weekend. He appeared in 41 career games at South Dakota and even earned honorable mention all-conference honors as a sophomore in 2012.

Mincy is also an undrafted free agent who was a three-year starter at Auburn. He recorded 211 career tackles and was named a second team All-SEC selection by the conferences coaches in 2014.
