Falcons Sign Veteran OL Zane Beadles, Waive DT Michael Bennett

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Falcons have signed veteran OL Zane Beadles to a contract on Tuesday.

The Falcons have already announced the move along with the release of DT Michael Bennett.

Beadles, 31, is a former second-round pick of the Broncos back in 2010. He played out his rookie contract with the Broncos before signing a five-year, $30 million contract that included $12.5 million guaranteed with the Jaguars in 2014.

After two years in Jacksonville, Beadles was released and later signed a three-year, $11.75 million contract with the 49ers. He was set to make a base salary of $3 million for the 2018 season when the 49ers released him back in May.

In 2017, Beadles appeared in all 16 games for the 49ers and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 79 offensive tackle out of 81 qualifying players.
