Falcons Sign WR Anthony Dable To Futures Deal

The Atlanta Falcons announced that they’ve signed WR Anthony Dable to a reserve/future contract on Thursday.

This is the Falcons first futures deal but you can expect them to sign a number of players after their season is over.

Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Dable, 28, played for the Germany-based team, the Braunschweig New Yorker Lions, in 2015 and helped them win their second straight league championship. He offers great size at 6-foot-5 and 215 pounds.

The Giants signed him to a contract back in February but he was, unfortunately, among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

Over the past two years, Dable has recorded 145 receptions for close to 2,500 yards and 32 touchdowns for the Lions.
