Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Falcons are signing former Ravens OLBÂ Courtney Upshaw to a contract.
The Falcons brought Upshaw in for a visit this week earlier in the week. This was his second visit after he previously met with the Jets.
Upshaw, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Ravens back in 2012. He played out his rookie contract with the team and was testing the open market for the first time.
In 2015, Upshaw appeared in all 16 games for the Ravens and recorded 51 tackles, two sacks, two forced fumbles, three recoveries and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 84 edge rusher out of 110 qualifying players.
