The Atlanta Falcons announced Thursday that they’ve waived LB Richard Jarvis and promoted LS Jeff Overbaugh to their active roster.
Jarvis, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Falcons back in May as an undrafted free agent out of Brown. He stands to make a base salary of $485,000 for the 2018 season.
Jarvis was able to make the Falcons’ 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, so he could be a candidate for their practice squad if he clears waivers on Friday.
