Falcons Sign LB Davis Tull & OT Carter Bykowski To Practice Squad, Cut Two

The Atlanta Falcons announced Wednesday that they’ve signed OT Carter Bykowski and LB Davis Tull to their practice squad and waived DE Nordly Capi and CB Devonte Johnson.

The Falcons’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OT Carter Bykowski
  2. LB Davis Tull
  3. WR J.D. McKissic
  4. S Sharrod Neasman
  5. QB Matt Simms
  6. TE D.J. Tialavea
  7. CB Deji Olatoye
  8. DT Joe Vellano
  9. RB Blake Sims
  10. WR Nick Williams

Tull, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Saints back in 2015. He managed to make the 53-man roster during his rookie season but was unfortunately cut loose coming out of the preseason a few weeks ago.

During the preseason, Tull recorded four tackles for the Saints over the course of four games.

Tull has yet to appear in a regular season NFL game.

Capi, 23, originally signed on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Akron back in May of last year. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but later signed on to the Ravens’ practice squad.

Baltimore elected to bring Capi back in a future/reserve contract after the season, but he was cut loose a few weeks after the draft. The Falcons signed him to a contract in June before cutting him loose at the start of the regular season.

Capi has yet to appear in an NFL game.
