Falcons Worked Out 5 LBs Including Emmanuel Acho & Khaseem Greene

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Falcons brought in four linebackers for workouts this week including Emmanuel Acho, Khaseem Greene, Philip WheelerCarlos Fields, and Ronald Powell.

Acho, 24, is a former sixth-round pick of the Browns back in 2012. He spent one year in Cleveland before he was traded to the Eagles in return for RB Dion Lewis.

Acho had a brief stint with the Giants before returning to the Eagles in October of 2013. Philadelphia elected to bring him back on a future/reserve contract back in January, but he was unfortunately cut loose at the start of the season.

Last year, Acho appeared in 14 games for the Eagles and recorded 31 tackles.

Greene, 26, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bears back in 2013. He was waived by Chicago shortly after this year’s NFL Draft, but was later claimed by the Buccaneers.

Tampa Bay wound up releasing him coming out of the preseason.

In 2014, Greene appeared in 10 games for the Bears and recorded 17 tackles.
