Fernando Velasco Poised To Win Center Job

The Tennessean’s John Glennson reports that the Titans vacant Center position seems to have a replacement in Fernando Velasco.

After Eugene Amanos season ending injury, the Titans have been looking to fill the void and it seems to be that the former undrafted free agent will be who replaces Amano in the starting lineup. Head Coach Mike  Munchak had this to say:

“He’s been here a long time. He understands the system and the calls,”

Velasco, a converted guard, has appeared in 32 games in the last 2 seasons however he never started in any of them.
