  1. Bruce arenas has made is pretty clear he won’t Draft a qb round . And they really like mettenberg. Mosley won’t go past az.

  2. Just curious about your take on Kelvin Benjamin (6’5 WR from Florida State). I am quite surprised you didn’t have him either going to NO, CAR, or even SEA.

I don’t think anyone will risk their 1st round pick on a QB. I can see players using their 2nd pick picks to trade up to the 1st round like around SEA, DEN,or NE. I think the end of the draft and the 2nd & 3rd rounds will have a good crop of QBs being taken.

    • We’ve had him going to teams at the end of round one in the past, but elected to push him down a bit. He’s certainly in the discussion at that point given that there isn’t a list of guys his size available.

  3. You must be Broncos fans if you think Mosley falls to 31. Steelers would hop on him or Ebron if available

    • I’ll admit that it would be a little surprising to see Mosley fall this far, but there some obvious medical concerns and questions about the value of ILBs in regards to the draft.

I think the Steelers did really well getting Kyle Fuller. It’s not hard to see that this kid is very talented, especially when it comes to playing the ball in coverage.

  4. Did the Rams and Jets already make a trade at #13? Everything else I’ve seen has the Ram’s picking at 2 (WAS) and 13 (Their natural pick)..

    • This was considered. For a few minutes we had Mosley going to NE, but felt it was a position they could address later.

        • Given the recent precedent set by the Dolphins move up from No. 12 to No. 2 overall, you could make the case that the Lions would only have to part with a 3rd round pick to go from No. 10 to No. 5 overall. That was our thinking.

          • That’s bad reasoning considering Oakland got ripped for taking so little last year to move back I don’t think with their gm being on such a short rope he’ll give it up for anything less then a great trade with multiple picks especially if Mack or Watkins are available

          • I don’t think you can completely discount a precedent just because you don’t think it was a good deal. I’ll give that there are more valuable players in this years draft, so there is a chance they could come away with a second round pick.

          • It wasn’t me calling it a bad deal it was every analyst and personnel people from around the league. According to the point system it would cost this year’s and next year’s first

          • ….and you were absolutely correct. The bills paid that price and the 1st rounder for next year could turn out to be another top 10 pick given the futility of the bills the last decade or two.
