Aaron Wilson, citing a league source, reports that Florida DL Dominique Easley is visiting with the Patriots and Cowboys next week.
Wilson adds that the Bears sent three people to Easley’s Pro Day and Rams are “very interested” in him as well.
- Jeff Barlis of ESPN.com reported that 17 teams including the Texans were on hand to watch Easley’s Pro Day this week.
- Tony Pauline of DraftInsider.net recently reported that Easley is “drawing heavy interest” from Seahawks, Bears, Patriots and 49ers.
Last September, Easley unfortunately went down with a torn ACL and subsequently missed the entire season.
Easley told reports on Thursday that his knee is “about 80 percent” healed, and he expects to be ready for mini-camps this summer, per Barlis.
We have Easley going to the Patriots in the second round of our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
