Former Browns HC Pat Shurmer Is Interviewing For Jets OC Job

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that the Jets are interviewing former Browns head coach Pat Shurmur for their offensive coordinator position on Friday.

Shurmur employs a West Coast system and spent time as the Rams offensive coordinator before leaving to take the Browns job.

Saints quarterbacks coach Joe Lombardi is also in consideration for the position.

The Jets couldn’t convince Norv Turner to take the job and Cam Cameron is reportedly no long in consideration, so it will be interesting to see who’s running their offense next season.
