Former Chargers WR Vincent Brown Goes Unclaimed, Has Interest From Teams

Former Chargers WR Vincent Brown passes through waivers unclaimed on Monday, according to the NFL transaction release.

ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports Brown has received interest from NFL teams and is expected to begin working out for them in the coming days.

San Diego waived Brown last weekend as they worked to trim their roster down to 53 players. After he cleared waivers, the Chargers placed him on injured reserve and later waived him with an injury settlement.

Brown, 25, is a former third-round pick and is entering the final season of his rookie contract. Last year, Brown appeared in all 16 games for the Chargers and caught 41 passes for 472 yards receiving and one touchdown.
