Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean reports that former Eagles CB Cary Williams is scheduled to visit with the Jets and Titans in the coming days.

According to Wyatt, the meeting with the Titans is scheduled for Monday, so there is a chance that he could already be under contract by then.

  • Aaron Wilson reported earlier in the day that Williams is visiting with the Seahawks on Thursday.
  • According to Wilson, the Ravens and Steelers also interested in Williams.
  • Wilson previously mentioned that Williams has already been contacted by a dozen NFL teams since being released on Tuesday.

NFL teams can begin meeting with free agents on Saturday, so there is a small window of time for players like Williams to meet with interested teams and hopefully get a deal in place before next Tuesday.

Williams, 30, appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and recorded 60 tackles, two interceptions and 10 pass defenses last year. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 49 cornerback in the league out of 108 qualifying players.

We’ll have more regarding Williams as the news is available.
