Former Giants S Will Hill Signs With Arena League Team

The Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League recently announced the signing of former Giants S Will Hill.

I’m excited to get out on the field,” said Hill. “I’m ready to get out there and put people over the [dasher board] wall.

The Giants waived Hill this past Monday just a few days after he had had lost his appeal for violating the NFL Policy for Substances of Abuse. Hill would have been suspended for six games.

It seems as though this could be a financially drive move as previous reports have documented Hill’s financial issues in recent years.

Hill, 24, has now been suspended three times in as many years. Last year, Hill appeared in 12 games and totaled 77 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and a recover for the Giants.

It’s worth mentioning that Pro Football Focus had Hill rated as the No. 2 safety in league last season.
