Former Giants & Texans RB Andre Brown Suspended 8 Games

 

Former Giants and Texans RB Andre Brown has been suspended eight games for an undisclosed reason, according to Howard Balzer.

Brown signed a one-year, $645,000 contract with the Texans this offseason. However, he lasted until August before he was released.

Brown, 27, spent one season with the Broncos, before joining the New York Giants in 2012.  In 2013, he ran for 492 yards on 139 carries.  He added three touchdowns.
