Former Packers DB Jarrett Bush Suspended Again, This Time For 10 Games

Field Yates of ESPN reports that former Packers DB Jarrett Bush has been suspended for an additional 10 games.

It just a month ago that the NFL announced that Bush had been suspended four games for violating the NFL’s policy on performance-enhancing substances, so this is hardly the type of thing that will get him another shot in the league.

Bush, 31, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2006. He was later waived and claimed by the Packers.

During his nine years in Green Bay, Bush was largely a special teams contributor, who helped them win a Super Bowl back in 2010.

Last year, Bush appeared in 15 games and recorded 16 tackles and a pass defense for the Packers.

  1. What does it mean to a player that is past his prime and never going to play in the NFL to be suspended for 14 games that he doesn’t have a team to play with. He’s not retired and hoping for some miracle. He’s not going to be faster next month and there is some young guy they can pay less and he will do more. Bush’s time is over. He has a superbowl ring and played in the NFL for 10 years. That is a lot better than my 9 games and no super bowl ring. Be happy with what God gave you and fly your packer banner high.
