Former Rams & Jets RB Zac Stacy Attempting Comeback

Cameron Wolfe reports that former Rams and Jets RB Zac Stacy is attempting a comeback after sitting out the past two seasons.

Stacy tells Wolfe that he’s “giving it another go” after retiring due to an ankle injury.

Stacy, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Rams back in 2013. He spent two years with the Rams before he was traded to the Jets in return for a seventh-round pick that ultimately became Bryce Hager.

The Jets elected to cut Stacy loose after one season and he didn’t catch on with another team for the 2016 season. He later announced his retirement last February.

For his career, Stacy rushed for 1,355 yards on 357 carries (3.8 YPC) to go along with 53 receptions for 358 yards receiving and 10 total touchdowns over the course of three seasons.
