Chester, 32, had one year remaining on his five-year, $20 million contract that included $6.5 million guaranteed when the Redskins cut him loose earlier in the week.
However, it’s a great sign that he already has interest from multiple teams. With this in mind, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him catch on with a new team at some point in the near future.
In 2014, Chester appeared in all 16 games for the Redskins. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 33 guard out of 78 qualifying players.
