Former Seahawks CB Marcus Trufant Retiring From The NFL

 

The Seattle Seahawks announced Wednesday that veteran CB Marcus Trufant will sign a one-year deal with the team on Thursday and retire from the NFL, per Bob Condotta

Trufant, 33, was taken by the Seahawks with No. 11 overall pick out of Washington State back in 2003. He spent all ten seasons with the Seahawks.

Last year, he signed a contract with the Jaguars, but was unable to make the team and wound up sitting out the entire 2013 season.

Trufant finishes his career with 644 tackles, two sacks, 21 interceptions, five forced fumbles and six recoveries over the course of 136 games.
