Former Steelers OT Max Starks Retiring From NFL

Former Steelers OT Max Starks tells Alex Marvex of Sirius XM NFL Radio that he plans to retire from the NFL.

Starks, 33, was taken in the third round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers. He spent nine years with the Steelers before he signed on with the San Diego Chargers as an unrestricted free agent in May of last year.

Unfortunately for Starks, he was release before the start of the 2013 regular season.

The Arizona Cardinals took a chance on him this past August, but lasted a little over three weeks with the team.

Starks helped the Steelers win three AFC Championships and two Super Bowl titles.
