Former Titans OT David Stewart: “It’s Time To Move On”

The Tennessee Titans released veteran OT David Stewart on Wednesday after eight years with the team.

Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean spoke to Stewart regarding his plans now that he’s a free agent and it appears as though his time in the NFL is coming to an end.

“We had a ball along the way, made some good friends in Nashville with the Titans,” Stewart said. “Now it is time to get healthy and live life with the family. I had a good run, enjoyed it, and it’s time to move on.

Stewart, 31, is a former fourth-round pick of the Titans out of Mississippi State back in 2005. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 36 offensive tackle in the league last season.

We have him listed as the No. 42 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list, but we’ll probably have to update it.
