According to Matt Miller of the Bleacher Report, CFL WR Duron Carter will not hold a Pro Day, despite previous reports that mentioned he was expected to do so in Florida next month.

  • Miller mentions four NFL teams are already in the process of setting up meetings with Carter.
  • Miller expects the Colts to be the first option for Carter followed by the Vikings.

Jason La Canfora previously reported that the Colts, Seahawks and 49ers are all “very interested” in signing him to a contract if his off-the-field issues are no longer a concern while Mary Kay Cabot added that the Browns were expected to work out Carter at some point.

Carter’s contract with the Montreal Alouettes ended a few weeks ago and he is now able to make visits with the NFL teams. It’s worth mentioning that Carter cannot sign with an NFL team until next February.

Carter, 23, caught 75 passes for 1,030 yards and seven touchdowns to go along with 40 yards rushing.
