Free agent CB Aaron Ross announced via his Twitter account Monday that he will be participating in the Ravens minicamp this week on a tryout basis.

Ross, 31, worked out for the Lions back in April, and even though Detroit recently parted ways with veteran CB Chris Houston, there hasn’t been any indication that they were considering signing him to a contract.
Ross was released just one year into his three-year, $9.75 million with the Jaguars. He would later catch on with the Giants.
New York wound up placing Ross on season-ending injured reserve with a back injury in October of last year, which limited him to appearing in just four games.
