Free Agent CB Aaron Ross Working Out For Rams & 49ers

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that free agent CB Aaron Ross is still hoping to catch on with a team for the 2015 season.

  • According to Wilson, Ross has workouts lined up with the Rams and 49ers in the coming days.
  • Wilson adds that Rosshas rehabilitated his Achilles’ injury and is hoping to play for a Super Bowl contender.

Ross, 32, is a former first-round pick of the Giants back in 2007. He played out his rookie contract with New York before signing a three-year contract with the Jaguars as an unrestricted free agent in March of 2012.

However, his time Jacksonville was short lived, as the team cut him loose just one year into his contract.

Ross later returned to the Giants before signing on with the Ravens in June of last year.

In 2014, Ross was limited to appearing in just four games after he sustained a torn Achilles tendon and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve.
