Free agent CB Brandon Boykin completed his workout with the Cowboys on Wednesday, according to Brandon George.

Boykin said the session “went great” and added that his hip is a “non-issue.”

“My hip is not an issue at all,” Boykin said, per George. “I’ve never missed a game in my entire career.

Boykin added that the reports of him possibly having a career-threatening hip issue are “false.”

This is the second workout for Boykin after he met with the Falcons, and took a physical for the team.

Dallas has shown some interest in available cornerbacks in recent months, but they are clearing being patient with their roster during offseason workouts.

Boykin, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Eagles back in 2012. He was traded to the Steelers last year for a 2016 fifth round pick after Pittsburgh sustained some injuries at cornerback.

The Panthers elected to sign him to a one-year contract back in March before cutting him loose close to a month ago.

In 2015, Boykin was active for all 16 games and recorded 25 tackles, one sack, an interception, a forced fumble and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 38 cornerback out of 111 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
