Free Agent CB Delvin Breaux Has Visits Lined Up With 49ers & Packers

According to Joel A. Erickson, free agent CB Delvin Breaux has visits scheduled with the 49ers and Packers.

Breaux said it’s disappointing that the Saints declined to tender him an offer as a restricted free agent because his first choice would be to stay home, per Mike Triplett.

Breaux has visited with the Broncos and Patriots since the free agent market opened a few weeks ago.

Breaux, 28, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent back in May of 2015. He played out the final year of his three-year, $1.587 million contract and was set to be a restricted free agent this offseason.

The Saints placed Breaux on injured reserve coming out of the preseason and he wound up missing the entire 2017 season. Breaux is a currently an unrestricted free agent after the Saints declined to tender him a restricted offer.

In 2016, Breaux appeared in six games and recorded 21 tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense for the Saints.

We have him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
