Free Agent CB Leon Hall Could Decide On New Team Some Time This Week

Mike Jurecki is hearing that free agent CB Leon Hall could make a decision some time next week regarding a new team.

  • Jurecki points out that Hall has been on the Cardinals’ radar since he visited with the team back in March.

Hall has also visited with the Giants and Falcons in the past month or so, but there haven’t been any reports updating the situation since he left the visits without a contract.

The Dolphins have reportedly discussed the possibility of signing Hall, but Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald mentioned a few weeks ago that Miami wasn’t pursuing him at this point in time.

It’s worth mentioning that Hall underwent offseason back surgery.

Hall, 31, is former first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2007. He has spent all nine years of his NFL career with the Bengals and is now among the best available cornerbacks in this year’s market.

In 2015, Hall appeared in 14 games for the Bengals and recorded 55 tackles, two interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, and nine pass defenses.

We have both players featured in our Best Available Free Agents list.
