Free Agent DT Brandon Deaderick Worked Out For Chiefs

ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that the Chiefs hosted free agent DT Brandon Deaderick for a workout last week.

This comes just a few days after Caplan reported that Deaderick also met with the Saints last week, so it appears as though there is at least some small market developing for his services.

Deaderick, 26, was a seventh-round pick of the Patriots back in 2010. He spent three seasons with New England before being claimed off waivers by the Jaguars in May of last year.

In 2013, he appeared in 13 games for Jacksonville and totaled nine tackles, a half sack, a forced fumble and a recovery.
