Free Agent G Garrett Reynolds Visited Cowboys This Week

ESPN’s Adam Caplan reports that free agent G Garrett Reynolds visited with the Cowboys earlier this week.

  • Reynolds has previously met with the Titans, so there appears to be at least some interest in him as be draw closer to training camp.

Reynolds, 26, was cut loose by the Falcons back in February in a move that freed up $1.385 million in cap space. He lost his starting job twice this past season and after the Falcons signed former first-round pick Gabe Carimi, Reynolds became expendable.

Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 31 guard in the league last season, although he wasn’t all that good in pass and run-protecting.

The Cowboys figure to have Mackenzy Bernadeau and Tyronne Green as their reserve guards this season, so it probably wouldn’t be a bad idea to increase the level of competition during training camp.
