ESPN’s Adam Schefter mentioned that veteran ILB Jonathan Vilma is now “healthy and ready” after missing pretty much the entire 2013 season.
This comes in response to the news that Cowboys MLB Sean Lee could be out for majority of the 2014 season with a torn left ACL that he suffered in OTAs on Tuesday.
It appears as though this is Vilma’s agent trying to drum up interest in his client at the first sign of an opportunity presenting itself.
Vilma, 32, hasn’t found any reported interest the entire offseason, so even though the Cowboys would be in a tough position, there is no guarantee they would consider bringing the ten-year veteran in. He has missed 25 games over the course of the past three seasons.
