According to Rob Sheets, the agent for free agent LB Zachary Orr, 15 teams have contacted him about his client, who is visiting with the Lions today and an undisclosed team on Friday. Beyond that, Orr has another three visits lined up with unnamed teams.

We’ve spoken to 15 teams,” Sheets said in an interview with 105.7 The Fan in Baltimore, via ESPN.com. “In essence, half the NFL is curious to do their own ‘due diligence’.

Sheets mentioned that the Ravens are conflicted about re-signing Orr, given the concerns regarding his neck condition.

There are a lot of variables that the Ravens are having to deal with,” Sheets said, via ESPN.com. “There’s a lot of internal consternation. One side of the line fighting to get Zach Orr back, and another line saying we need to move on.

A few hours after Orr announced his plans to return to the NFL, Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome released the following statement:

I spoke with Zach [on Tuesday] and he informed me that he would like to continue to play football. He is a free agent.”

Orr, 25, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of North Texas back in May of 2014. He played out the final year of his rookie contract and is now an unrestricted free agent.

The Ravens placed Orr on season-ending injured reserve towards the end of December.

In 2016, Orr appeared in 15 games for the Ravens and recorded 133 tackles, three interceptions, two fumble recoveries, a forced fumble and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 81 linebacker out of 87 qualifying players.
