Adam Beasley reported several months ago that Miami made made “preliminary calls” about Harris, but there has been very little buzz surrounding him since then.
Harris, 29, was drafted by the Broncos in the third-round of the 2007 NFL Draft and spent the first four years of his career in Denver. He later joined the Texans on a one-year contract.
Last season, Harris appeared in all 16 games for the Texans and was rated as the No. 57 offensive tackle in the league by Pro Football Focus.
