Free Agent RB Knowshon Moreno Expected To Miss 2015 Season

According to Mike Jurecki of FOX Sports 910, free agent RB Knowshon Moreno will end up missing the entire 2015 season because his “knee isn’t right.”

Last year, Moreno was forced to sign a one-year, $3 million contract that included $1.25 million guaranteed with the Dolphins after finding a more limited market than expected.

Unfortunately for Moreno, his 2014 season came to an end in Week 6 when he tore his ACL and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve.

Moreno, 28, has come up as speculative option for a few running back-needy teams, but it sounds like he plans to get his knee right and try to catch on with a new team next year.

In 2014, Moreno ran 148 yards on 31 carries (4.8 YPC) and one touchdown over the course of three games.
