Free Agent S James Ihedigbo Suspended Four Games

According to Howard Balzer, free agent S James Ihedigbo has been suspended for the first four weeks of the 2017 season.

It’s been a quiet offseason for Ihedigbo, which could be a result of his four-game suspension.

Back in February, Ihedigbo mentioned that he was hoping to re-sign with the Bills (NFLTR). However, there hasn’t been any reported interest in him since then.

Ihedigbo, 33, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent back in 2007. He spent four years in New York before catching on with the Patriots.

The Ravens signed him to a contract in 2012 and he spent two years in Baltimore before joining the Lions on a two-year contract in 2014.

Ihedigbo didn’t sign on with a team until November of last year when the Bills added him to their roster.

In 2016, Ihedigbo appeared in four games and recorded 16 tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense.
