Free Agent S Jim Leonhard Expects To Sign During The Preseason

 

Free agent S Jim Leonhard tells Alex Marvez of Sirius XM NFL Radio that although his agent has spoken to NFL teams including the Packers, there is “nothing imminent” at this point in time.

Leonhard adds that he expects to sign with a team during the preseason as NFL teams are preparing to give younger players more work in the coming weeks.

There is a chance that he could catch on with a new team before the start of the season, but he may have to wait for an injury or teams to begin making roster cuts before finding work.

Leonhard, 31, appeared in all 16 games for the Bills last season and recorded 41 tackles, six passes defensed and four interceptions (four).
