Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that free agent TE Cameron Clear was also suspended four games on Thursday. Rapoport doesn’t say specifically what triggered the suspension for Clear.
Clear, 23, wound up signing on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Texas A&M back in May of last year. He was unfortunately waived with the injury designation at the start of the season and later reverted to the Steelers’ injured reserve list.
The Colts later signed Clear to a future/reserve contract in February only to place him on waivers following this year’s draft.
Clear has yet to appear in an NFL game.
