Free Agent WR Kris Durham Recently Tried Out For Saints & Cowboys

Former Lions WR Kris Durham tells Sirius XM NFL Radio that he recently tried out for the Saints and Cowboys.

  • Durham mentioned that he was happy with how his workout for Dallas went and he’s hoping to receive a call from them.

The Cowboys hosted a number of skill position players this past week, so it’s possible that Durham could be added to their roster at some point in the near future.

New Orleans could probably use some more receiver depth as they head into OTAs, which means they too are worth keeping an eye on in regards to Durham.

Durham, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2011. He spent one year in Seattle before he was released before the start of the 2012 season.

Detroit later signed him to their practice squad in September of 2012. Durham wound up appearing in 20 games for the Lions during his two years in Detroit.

The Lions elected to place Durham on waivers at the start of the 2014 season, but he was later claimed by the Titans.

In 2014, Durham appeared in four games and caught six passes for 54 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
