Free Agents S LaRon Landry & WR Ace Sanders Have Suspensions Lifted

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that former Colts S LaRon Landry and former Jaguars WR Ace Sanders have both served their suspension.

Both players are free agents and capable of being signed should a team be willing to give them another chance.

Landry was suspended for the first 10 games of the 2015 season, which came after he a four-game suspension during the 2014 regular season for violating the NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

The Colts released Landry back in February in a move that cleared $2.25 million in cap space for the team.

Landry, 30, appeared in 11 games for the Colts and recorded 47 tackles and 2.5 sacks. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 39 safety of out 87 qualifying players.

Like Landry, Sanders was suspended for the first 10 games of the 2015 season and was his second suspension in the past two years.

Sanders, 23, was placed on waivers last week by the Jaguars during the summer.

In 2014, Sanders caught six passes for 55 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also contributed 16 kick return yards and another 227 punt return years for the Jaguars.
