GFL FB Chris Ezeala Assigned To Ravens As Part Of International Pathway Program

According to Jamison Hensley, FB Chris Ezeala of the German Football League has been assigned to the Ravens as part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway program.

Each AFC North team will be assigned an international player as part of the league’s program designed to develop more talent from around the world.

Last year, the NFL allowed NFC South teams to carry an international player and the program adds a new division each year.

The Ravens will receive an international roster exemption for Ezeala if he’s unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason. This allows Baltimore to carry Ezeala as the 11th member of their practice squad.

Ezeala, 22, is 5-foot-11, 243 pounds and posted 4.54 40-yard dash time to go along with 21 bench press reps and 34-inch vertical leap.

Ezeala has been training with NFL draft prospects and former RB Earnest Byner at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla.
