Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News reports that the Giants will trade their 2012 fifth-round pick to the Cincinnati Bengals in return for for LB Keith Rivers.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the New York Giants are “exploring” a trade for Bengals LB Keith Rivers.
NFL.com’s Jason La Canfora updates the situation by tweeting that a deal could actually get done by the end of the day.
Rivers comes with a pretty serious injury, but is entering the final year of his rookie contract, so the Giants should be able to get him fairly cheap. A late-round draft would make sense.
