Giants Designate WR Cody Latimer To Return From Injured Reserve

On Wednesday, Giants HC Pat Shurmur announced that they’ve designated WR Cody Latimer to return from injured reserve, per Art Stapleton.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Giants to add him to their active roster or he would revert back to injured reserve.

Latimer, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Broncos back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $3,708,650 contract before agreeing to a one-year, $2.5 million contract with the Giants this past March.

Latimer will be an unrestricted free agent again in 2019.

In 2018, Latimer appeared in four games for the Giants and caught six passes for 108 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He also totaled 89 kick return yards.
