Giants Expect To Give Tom Coughlin A Contract Extension In The Coming Weeks

New York Giantsowner John Mara mentioned that a contract extension for head coach Tom Coughlin could be coming within the next 4-6 weeks.

“I have no doubt it’s going to get done very soon,” said Mara, via New York Post. “As I’ve said, Tom is our guy, and we think we have the best coach in the league.”

Coming off of his second Super Bowl title in the last four years should be more than enough for the team to commit to him in the long run. It will be interesting to see how the Giants are willing to pay him now that he’s solidified himself as one of the leagues best coaches.
