Giants FB Nikita Whitlock Suspended 10 Games

The NFL announced Thursday that Giants FB Nikita Whitlock has been suspended 10 games for violating NFL performance enhancing substances policy.

Whitlock, 25, wound up signing on with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent out of Wake Forest back in May of 2014. He lasted just a few months in Cincinnati before signing on to the Cowboys practice squad at the start of the 2014 season.

The Giants later signed him to a future/reserve contract after the 2014 season. However, he was waived with an injury designation and later reverted to their injured reserve list coming out of the preseason a few weeks ago.

In 2015, Whitlock appeared in 14 games for the Giants, but did not receive a single carry.
