Giants HC Ben McAdoo Not On Hot Seat, Despite 0-4 Start

According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, Giants HC Ben McAdoo is not on the hot seat, despite the team’s 0-4 start to the season.

“Ben McAdoo is not in trouble,” Rapoport said on “NFL GameDay Morning.” “The Giants believe he is still a future very successful coach. He actually went to the playoffs last year. This is expected to be just a blip of the radar for the Giants.”

Rapoport added that moving on from McAdoo after just two years as their head coach isn’t “how ownership has traditionally run this franchise.

It’s true that the Giants don’t make hasty decisions regarding those in charge of the team, but cries to replace McAdoo will surely grow in the coming months unless they’re able to get things turned around and start winning games.

McAdoo, 40, was hired as the Giants’ offensive coordinator back in 2014 and took over for HC Tom Coughlin two years later. During his two years in charge of the team, McAdoo has led them to a record of 11-9 (55 percent), which includes a playoff appearance last year.

We’ll have more regarding McAdoo’s future as the news is available.
