Giants Interview Marc Ross For GM Position

The New York Giants announced Monday that they’ve interviewed VP of player evaluation Marc Ross for their GM position.

Giants owner John Mara and former GM Ernie Accorsi, who is consulting during the process, interviewed Ross.

This is the first official interview for the Giants’ GM vacancy, but you can expect more meetings to be set up and conducted this week.

New York will also interview GM Kevin Abrams for the position.

Over the weekend, Jay Glazer reported the Giants will interview former Panthers GM Dave Gettleman for their GM vacancy in the coming days (NFLTR). According to Glazer, Gettleman is considered to be the “leader in the clubhouse” for the Giants’ position.

The Giants have said that their plan is to hire a GM before turning their attention to finding their next head coach.

Ross, 44, spent six years as the Giants director of college scouting before he was promoted to his current position.
