Giants HC Tom Coughlin announced that LT Will Beatty will remain on the PUP list and will subsequently miss the entire 2015 season.
- Coughlin added that Beatty has a rotator cuff injury that will require surgery.
According to Raanan, Beatty is expected to remain on the PUP list for the remainder of the 2015 season.
Beatty, unfortunately, tore his pectoral muscle while working in the weight room back in May. He was able to practice in recent weeks, but it appears as though he isn’t as far along as he would need to be to return to the playing field.
Beatty, 30, is in the third year of his five-year, $37.5 million contract that included $19 million guaranteed. He stands to make base salaries of $5.5 million (2015), $6.625 million (2016) and $6.775 million (2017) over the next three years.
New York has until 4 p.m. EST today to activate Beatty.
