Giants OL David Diehl Announces His Retirement From The NFL

Giants OL David Diehl announced that he will in fact be retiring from the NFL, which was something he had reportedly been mulling for a few weeks now.

Diehl, 33, was a fifth-round pick of the Giants and developed into being a very important part of their offensive line over the course of his eleven-year career. He was voted to the Pro Bowl in 2009 and started at let tackle for both of the Giants Super Bowl victories over the Patriots.

However, Diehl graded out as one of the worst guards in the league this season, according to Pro Football Focus.

Even so, Diehl had a great NFL career and contributed to some amazing wins for the Giants franchise.
