Giants Place CB Antonio Hamilton On Injured Reserve

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Giants have placed CB Antonio Hamilton on injured reserve with a quad injury on Tuesday.

Hamilton, 25, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State back in 2016. He managed to make the 53-man roster in each of his first two years in Oakland.

However, the Raiders waived him at the start of the 2018 season and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Giants.

Hamilton will be a restricted free agent in 2019.

In 2018, Hamilton appeared in 13 games for the Giants and recorded six tackles and no interceptions.
