Giants Place WR Jerrel Jernigan on Season-Ending I.R., Add Two Players From Practice Squad

 

The New York Giants announced Tuesday that they have placed WR Jerrel Jernigan on season-ending injured reserve with a mid-foot sprain.

• The Giants also announced that they have promoted WR Julian Talley and LB Dan Fox from their practice squad.

Jernigan, 25, suffered the injury during Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals. He’s in the final year of his four-year, $2.615 million contract and has a base salary of $645,000 for the 2014 season.

Jernigan’s year ends with six receptions for 40 yards and one carry for minus two yards.
