Giants RB Rashad Jennings Could Miss A Week Or Two With A Knee Sprain

According to Ralph Vacchiano of the New York Daily News, the “early word” from last night regarding RB Rashad Jennings‘ left knee injury was that he suffered a sprain and could miss one or two weeks.

Vacchiano adds that this was before Jennings underwent and MRI, so they will have a better idea of his injury and a potential timetable for him to return later on in the day.

Jennings was replaced by Andre Williams, who would go on to rush for 65 yards on 20 carries and scored a touchdown during the Giants’ win over the Falcons.

Over the course of five games, Jennings has ran for 396 yards on 91 carries (4.4 YPC) and scored two touchdowns. He has also contributed 11 receptions for 109 yards receiving.

We’ll have more updates regarding Jennings’ injury as the news is available.
